These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and Fit Me Dress Hire ("we," "us"or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the www.fmdresshire.com.au website as well as any other media form, media channel, mobile website or mobile application related, linked or otherwise connected thereto (collectively, the "Site').
You agree that by accessing the Site, you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with all of these Terms and Conditions, then you are expressly prohibited from renting or buying from this website.
Bookings
- Bookings are only secured when the rental or try on fee is paid in full.
- Bookings can be made directly from our online website, unless otherwise agreed.
- We take bookings up to 4 months in advance (contact us to confirm availability).
Postage & Returns
- A regular rental period is 4 days - please contact us to make alternative arrangements should longer durations be required (additional charges apply).
- The dress is due to be returned on the last day of the booking (or next working day if the return date falls on a Sunday or public holiday) no later than 2PM.
- We offer interstate postage. Garments are posted in an Express Post satchel along with a prepaid return post satchel.
- We do not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers. Consumers must provide a valid residential address.
- Fit Me Dress Hire will not be held responsible for any Australia Post delays.
- Customers must keep a copy of the lodgement receipt provided by the post office and provide to Fit Me Dress Hire as proof of return.
- Customers are expected to notify Fit Me Dress Hire if there are any delays in returning the item.
- Customers are expected to notify Fit Me Dress Hire if the postage fee varies depending on the weight of the garment, we will include a return envelope which is addressed to our business.
- Late returns attract a late fee of $20 per day. Late fees will be charged to the customer credit card details that are provided at the time of the booking.
- If the customer has not returned the garment(s) within 7 days of the return date, Fit Me Dress Hire will treat the garment(s) as non-returned and will charge the Customer's credit card up to 150% of the recommended retail price in addition to the rental cost the Customer has paid.
Cancellation Policy
- Please choose carefully as we do not offer refunds or exchange for change of mind or incorrect size.
- If your event has been cancelled or you cancel your hire, Fit Me Dress Hire will happily offer you a store credit note which is valid for up to 3 months given you provide minimum 7 days' notice prior to commencement of your hiring period. If you cancel your hire within the 7 days you forfeit the full amount.
Product/Fit
- While we try our best to keep our garments in a good condition, the garment has been worn by others prior to your hire and it is not in brand new condition and garments may present fair wear and tear. Customers can request for live images of garments prior to hiring the garment
- The Customer must send photos and full description of any damages to bookings@fmdresshire.com.au within 12 hours of receiving garment if received via postage. The garment must then be returned immediately for exchange or store credit (additional costs may apply on exchanges).
Dry Cleaning
- Fit Me Dress Hire will dry clean the garment(s) after the hire period. Customers agree not to attempt to wash, dry clean, iron or alter the dress.
- We dry clean and inspect all garment(s) with the upmost of care, however use of the garment(s) is at your own risk and Fit Me Dress Hire shall not be held liable for any health-related complaints associated with the garment(s) hired.
Lost and Stolen/Damaged hired items
- Customers are expected to take reasonable care of the hired item as they would with their own. In the unlikely event that the garment(s) are lost, stolen or damaged, Fit Me Dress Hire will inspect the garment and decide on the cost of repair.
- If the item gets lost, stolen or damaged beyond repair the customer is fully liable for the cost of replacement which can be up to 150% of the recommended retail price in addition to the rental fee paid by the customer.
- Fit Me Dress Hire offers free damage insurance of up to $50 to cover minor damage or staining. Once Fit Me Dress Hire has assessed the minor damage or staining (at its sole discretion) if the repairs exceed $50 then the customer will be required to pay the difference.
Clearance Sale Items
- All clearance sales are final. No refund or exchange.
- All clearance sale items are ex rentals and not brand new.
- Signs of wear may be visible on clearance sale items
- All clearance items are for purchase not for hire.
Sale Items (Accessories)
- All sales on accessories and garment accompaniments are final. No refund or exchange.
Credit Notes
- All credit notes issued must be used prior to expiry date. Fit Me Dress Hire will not offer any extensions on credit notes
- Fit Me Dress Hire will provide you with an email including amount, expiry date & voucher code. Fit Me Dress Hire will not hold any responsibility if the customer has neglected expiration date.
- Credit notes are non refundable and non-transferrable.
- For bookings used with credit note: All cancellations must be made at least 7 working days prior to the customers event date. Fit Me Dress Hire will only reissue the credit note with the initial expiration date if the credit note has not yet expired.
- Fit Me Dress Hire will not extend the expiration date should you cancel your booking.
